To Calculate a Best Fitting Line from Nodes

  1. Select the Linear Adjustment tool.
  2. Click Add Nodes and select each node to use in the calculation. Or turn on Use Fence and accept with a data point to add several nodes at once.
  3. Click Show and adjust the uncertainty for each node until the line is in the appropriate location.
  4. Click Place.
